Sit down in Schielah’s chair and in five minutes you will feel like you have known her forever. There is something about touching someone’s hair that is very personal to her and making that someone feel good about his or her hair that is so important. She takes inspiration from travel – seeing something for the first time and then seeing those trends spread. She loves 60s Brigitte Bardot hair, winged eyeliner with a natural face. Kate Moss is another inspiration with the dressed down but done up feel.

Schielah loves to do cut, color and style. She describes what she does as like finishing your own painting. Instead of fighting people’s cowlicks, parts or baby hairs she likes to make people love those details and see them as their own personal signature. She loves doing weddings and creating really pretty styles. For her it’s about breaking down a person’s vibe and what they’re into and adding a touch of pretty. Schielah has attended cutting and styling classes at Bumble and bumble University in New York along with cutting classes at Vidal Sassoon and color classes at the Wella Studio in LA.

In her free time, you’ll find Schielah at the farmer’s market, going to new restaurants or traveling around the world.
